Not Just Any Ordinary People

Customers come and go, to and from Studio R. But it has been around 3 weeks I work as a Customer Service Associate there ; so I'm kind of remember vividly how the customers there look like.
The other day, one of them ; a man in his 60's, just two hours before the shop closed, came for the second time in this 3 weeks and once, I chatted with him and assisted him into getting a good pair of sports shoes with not a burdensome price.
So when this second time, I knew all along he was the one I assissted the other day. So I approached him first.
"Hi, how are you?"he asked with a friendly smirk, by that I knew that he remembered me.
First, we were in front of Nike shoes then Reebok shoes. But I suggested him to try the Saucony shoes which is suitable for running as he wanted it to be used for treadmill running and Saucony shoes is so much lighter. Then he refused to try since the colour was a bit striking he said. so we had a little argument (not really) because I said the shoes are good because it's lighter (I keep saying that but thank god he wasnt angry) then he jokingly asked me whether I'll buy it for my dad as the colour will never be worn by their age. So I still with my thoughts about the light weight and answered yes. He then asked me to put my hand on my chest and feel whether my heart is beating fast but I said it beats normallly. Then he laughed and compliment me saying that I'm a good sales girl and he likes how I promoted the shoes to him.
Then we were in front of Reebok again and he chose one shoes and asked me to bring his size. When I served him, he asked me whether I just finished high school. He asked what course I'll choose to further my studies. When I said mass communication, he said I'll be good in it. He complimented me some more.
Then I asked him "are you a Malaysian?". His answer went straight into my heart because he sincerely said "If you think I'm a Malaysian then I'm a Malaysian". I laughed and asked for the second time. He answered that he's Indian who lives in Canada but came to Malaysia whenever Canada got colder than ever. Then we continued to talk some more.
But after all what really cheered me up that day was when he told me that someday he will see Miss Husna on astro tv. He kept encouraging me that I was overwhelmed by his warmness in giving me advices and whatnots. When I asked him to fill the customers feedback form he said "oh miss husna is very good in everything, what should i comment?" And he complimented me again in front of the cashier. I was all smile that day thanks to him.
Sir I'll be sure to show up in the tv screen and thank you again for wishes me so well. Im so pleased to know there's still good samaritan going around doing goods to people in this harsh world nowadays.

Fun fact : Types of customers Studio R Sunway

Alhamdulillah, hari ni dah masuk hari ke-16 Husna kerja dekat Studio R Sunway. Sepanjang kerja kat sana, banyak pengalaman yang menarik Husna rasa. One of them is types of customers yg masuk studio r especially yg nak beli kasut...

1 the uncle miang
Umur dah layak dipanggil pakcik tapi bahasakan diri sendiri abang. They even asked me to join them for a cup of coffee. Then asked me my name and sorts.

2 the try everything
They asked for their sizes for more than three model of shoes and try all of them but went out from the shop without spending their money at all. AT ALL. They should know just how Husna panjat tangga tinggi tinggi for that. But after all its so much fun sbb mcm challenging sikit.

3 the dilemma
Kinda common. They tried two to three models of shoes and tried each models more than thrice. Then contemplating. Then wear one model on the right foot, another one on the left foot. Then contemplate for another 15 mins. Then baru decide which one.

4 the idk whats mine
They are just clueless and hopeless of their own feet sizes. Selalunya Husna end up ambil a wide range of sizes just for them for ONE model.

5 the peti besi
They keep asking for discounted items. They will try everything to not waste their money even sesen.

6 the last discount
If they get the last pair of shoes which has been diplayed for a period of time, they will ask for more discount because thats the display one.

7 the boomerang
They think twice to buy something then blah then come back to get the same item they had requested before.
They came for shoes, asked for their sizes, went out to redraw money in the bank, then come back for the shoes.
Just like the above but they pay first then went out to watch movie etc then come back to retrieve the items they had paid.

Last piece of puzzle 311214

Assalamualaikum.
Entri ni akan jadi entri terakhir Husna untuk tahun 2014 ; just like one piece of 365 pieces of puzzles, today will be the last piece to complete and sum up everything whether in a good or bad way. Just like puzzles, incomplete one will never give a full picture of it, but a complete one will tell you different stories that end up with one conclusion.

Alhamdulillah, buat Husna 2014 adalah tahun yang Husna takkan lupakan sebab tahun ni tahun Husna tamatkan alam persekolahan. Through the very ups and downs dekat TIKL, tempat tu macam a very magical place for me. Friends, teachers and even makcik dining were together with me through the journey, with different fate... In the end we all end up being together with one conlusion; we spent almost the whole year dekat TIKL.

Dorm mates, classmates, just how we struggled for SPM, only Allah knows. Till this very seconds, we still nervous about the outcomes on March 2015. Tapi untuk Husna and the others yang went through a lot in the making of our school magazine, majalah sekolah is another issue. I hope it turns out to be real good.

Anyway, in the making of a more mature girl, banyak pengalaman baru yang Husna lalui tahun ni. Trip pergi Pahang untuk attend wedding ceremony cikgu Lily, kawad statik Alfa, kawad KRS, SPM... Subhanallah, TIKL is indeed a magical place ; saksi Husna jadi lebih matang as an average schoolgirl.

5 Awam 1 especially my girls, Bina and Kinah, you guys memang baik sebab help me sketch a great memories in TIKL apart from layan aku yang hopeless ni. Classmates tahun ni memang classmates terbaik dari langit ! Semua supportive and you guys seriously made my year, lagi-lagi Aqil (sorrylah ter-bias sikit) sebab tahan tengok aku buat muka monyet dan etc.

Last but not least, Husna ada banyak lagi nak cerita tapi tak ingat nak cerita apa. At least pictures will tell a whole lot more story than I am.

P.S. Semoga mimpi indah. Mulakan hari esok dengan ucapan alhamdulillah.

Words

One word could describe everything but thousand words would leave you in thousands of emotions.

Living my life all this while, I strangely found comforts through words. I love the feeling of being immersed in thousands of words, contemplating, translating and imagining each and every single word I read or write.

Sometimes I was left in awe with mind-boggling stories or articles. Sometimes I cried at the end of sentences. Sometimes I experienced goosebumps after a full stop. All this mixed emotions just somehow left me in comforts I cannot describe. All the words I encountered brought me to a whole new world where I could create everything on my own. Words built up barrier between me and the hectic outworld. Words made me forget the problems, hardships when I almost want to give up my life. Words gave me strength.

Whenever I had the chance, I would read whatever reading materials I could get my hands on. Whenever I had mixed emotions and all sad, I would write words depending on whether it was poem or just words in paragraph. That’s why I always have a pen and a notebook with me all the time. Whenever I discover new words, I would copy it in my notebook because I felt like it was so precious that I must keep to myself, as if it was some sort of treasure I found on a deserted island.

The best time of all to read thousand of words is when it is raining outside and I would be tucked in a comfy and cozy blanket trying to find for warmth. Not to mention the natural lightning from outside that tries to find ways to enter my room. I would be glad to stay in that situation for hours, immersed with words and imagine things. I would never get bored with words.

Words are precious because with words, an author can be admired, with words, a Prime Minister could make thousands of people have faith in him and with words, I could write this to dedicate my love for words.

Am Forgetting

I could not care less
The convo we had
Full of silence
Awkwardness dominated

The space in between
Let the sweet voices doubting
The secrecy of our feelings

Too much we had
In little talk
The secrecy of our feelings

Kuala Lumpur - Raub : Cikgu Lily Kahwin

Selamat pagi.

P.S. terima kasih 5 Awam 1 (2014) !
